The point it, he could took a hot wire from a different room and start drilling holes and make it work. Instead he didn't give up and took every outlet in the house, till he found it.
My experience with JP was very positive. They were courteous and professional and attuned to great customer service. I was especially impressed with the electrician, Lenny, who installed our bathroom fan (which was great work). When we had further questions and possible concerns, he graciously returned and re-checked everything, took the time to explain and discuss trouble-shooting ideas even though the issue had nothing to do with his work. He was very personable and sincerely concerned with making sure we had what we needed. We had them come over to fix some lights that didn't seem to connect to a breaker. They came on time and were professional but didn't find a solution to the problem. They worked on it for about 1 hour and a half and charged us $165. Seems like a lot to pay for no results. A flat diagnostic fee seems more fair.
My house was build at 1948 many times the electrical doesn't make sense. The power in my daughter room went out, it wasn't the breaker or any of the outlets in her bedroom. Zack from JP electrical, troubleshoot it for two hours, he found a switch in the hallway that was on a different breaker, but one of the wires were lose and that wire was connected to the power circle, once he tight it, everything worked fine.
JP electric was so amazing! Jon was out to the house within one day to give me a bid and Mike the service guy was out the next week to do the work. Which was seamless, done in a timely manner and perfectly accurate to my specs I wanted for the job. They were clean, quiet and respectful. Everyone did a great job on my electrical work for my kitchen remodel. Only suggestion I have is to have a detailed Work order so we didn't have to explain each time someone came what we were doing and also each time they had to stop by and get a list of items needed for the job then go buy the items instead of coming prepared. Other than that, the work that was done was great.
