The overall appearance of the hotel was great and when I stepped into the lobby I was very impressed. Check in was great, good available parking and the hallways looked good. When I got to my guest room on the first floor I was happy with the way that it looked upon entry but then as I started settling in I noticed that the housekeeping was paying attention to things properly. There was trash behind the headboard and nightstand, there a few small stains on the sofa and carpet. The other thing was the shower didn’t drain properly, it flooded with water at my feet while useing it. Other than those things my stay was good, the morning breakfast was great and I liked the 12pm checkout time.
Nice clean rooms and facility. Better breakfast than some hotels. Clean is a priority to me and this hotel was the best in that regard of the several different hotels we stayed in in this trip. I'll look for a best western plus again.
My husband and I are truck drivers and had been on the road for some time so we decided to stop and stay at this place usually we stay at the Holiday Inn, when we had called to make reservations we asked specifically if we could pay with cash at check in time due to us arriving into town past bank hours to put money on our card and we were told yes so when we arrived to check in the staff was initially very friendly to us and when it was time to pay they asked us for our credit card and we told them we were told that we could use cash due to us coming in past bank hours and not being able to put money on our credit card and at that point the lady at the desk laughed and said um no we only accept card for check in and cash for check out, her attitude then went from very nice and friendly to how dare you come here with cash you scum and then proceeded to say as we were walking out maybe motel 8 is more your style.... Funny thing is we had full amount and deposit for the room and was able to find a holiday inn just 8 miles away from this place in which the amazing staff and manager let us pay with cash and apologized for best westerns ignorance and rudeness. I only gave a star because it would not allow me to chose none.... I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN TO ANY BEST WESTERNS & I WILL BE TELLING MY FRIENDS AND FAM NOT TO COME HERE EITHER..... HOLIDAY INN IS NUMBER 1
The hotel took pets at no extra charge if they were well behaved. I found the rooms clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, the common areas nice, the breakfast better than most for this type of situation, the staff very pleasant/helpful, and was very happy we stayed at this hotel since we ended up staying 2 nights instead of just 1. I would definitely stay there again!
Nice clean rooms but dated. No usb plugs to charge things. The bright white led in the room gave me a hospital feel.
